Concert ticket prices may make you cringe this summer. We certainly missed concerts this past year. If you’re ready to rock, you’re going to have to bust open that piggy bank for a few of these shows. Here are the ten most pricy tickets on the secondary market right now for upcoming Tampa area concerts at Amalie Arena, the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre, the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino and Ruth Eckerd Hall. Keep in mind these are the “get in” prices… meaning you’ll probably be sitting in the nosebleeds. For seats closer to the stage, you’ll pay much more.
#10 (tie): Pat Benatar ($115): Pat’s concert at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater was the first “post-pandemic” concert announcement. Problem was last summer we thought we were post-pandemic. The show ended up being postponed a few times. It’ll now happen October 17.
#10 (tie): Elton John ($115): Elton’s concert has been pushed back… but we’re used to that here in Tampa. His pre-pandemic show at Amalie Arena was delayed by a year due to a health issue.
#9: Justin Bieber ($125): The Beebs plays Amalie Arena in Tampa April 2, 2022.
#8: Andre Rieu ($126): Didn’t see this one coming did you? The Dutch violinist plays Amalie Arena March 14, 2022.
#7: Bruce Hornsby ($127): Bruce plays Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater November 10.
#6: Lindsey Buckingham ($170): The (former) Fleetwood Mac’er plays Ruth Eckerd Hall September 27.
#5: ZZ Top ($175): They’ve been at it for over 50 years! ZZ Top plays the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa November 9.
#4: Eric Clapton ($185): Tickets for this Amalie Arena show may be artificially inflated since the general public on sale hasn’t happened yet. The show happens September 25.
#3: Harry Styles ($231): The former One Direction member plays Amalie Arena October 10.
#2: Ringo Starr ($280): You might need to be a former Beatle to afford this ticket. Ringo plays Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater June 6, 2022.
#1: Alicia Keys ($396): Alicia’s performance at Tampa’s Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino will now happen September 18, 2022.
