If you like beer, the Tampa Bay area is the place to be. There are so many breweries in Tampa Bay, it’s hard to choose a favorite. Every brewery has something different about its beers on tap and its vibes.
Instead of trying to choose my favorite breweries in the entire Bay area (which would be very hard to do), I chose my three favorite breweries just in the downtown St. Pete area.
- 3 Daughters Brewing Co.
- One of their most popular beers, Beach Blonde Ale, is brewed here in the art district of downtown St. Pete. It has both and outside and inside section. The outside section has live music, which is always a plus.
- Cage Brewing Co.
- Cage has a lot of good beers, if you’re willing to try. I always go for King Crush or Queen Crush. It doesn’t hurt that this place has pinball machines, too.
- Green Bench Brewing Co.
- Green Bench is one of the few breweries located really close to the Trop. That’s why I always love stopping here before a Rays game.
