It’s always a blast when to experience Zoo Tampa and see the creatures (animals) during the day, especially with my kids.

Creatures of the Night at Zoo Tampa Lowry Park is a yearly outdoor spooky, Halloween-themed event. It’s totally family friendly and takes place on Friday & Saturday nights 4PM-10PM in October as we ramp up to Halloween.

Non-member reservations can be made online for $29.95. Reservations for members are $5. This reservation fee will be reimbursed upon entry in the form of a $5 voucher. The voucher can be used for dining and merchandise purchases on that day only. Tickets and reservations are limited and required for all guests 3 years and older. Guests 2 years old and under are free.

ZooTampa at Lowry Park is operated by the Lowry Park Zoological Society, an independent 501(c)(3) charitable organization. They are committed conservation, education, recreation and research. The Zoo is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. They’ve also been featured among the “Top 25 Zoos in the U.S” by TripAdvisor. The Zoo is located at 1101 West Sligh Avenue in Tampa, and is open seven days a week, from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. with extended hours for select events.

This year’s Creatures of the Night at Zoo Tampa features Nightshadow, “a dream master who brings dreams to life from the fun and whimsical to the spooky and nightmarish!” They ask for the safety of the performers that all guests refrain from touching them and maintain a distance of 6 feet. I recently caught up with Alex from Zoo Tampa to find out about all the exciting events.
