One of my favorite places to spend time on weekends is Tampa Bay Downs. I have been going to the track for over 10 years and love watching the horse’s race.
Tampa Bay Downs is off Racetrack Road in Hillsborough County and offers live Horse Racing, Poker and a driving range for golfers. There are multiple places to watch the races, including a full-service restaurant, the clubhouse and multiple TV areas. I prefer being outside and hanging out near the paddock. Watching the jockeys put on their silks and seeing horses get ready to race is exciting.
It’s a great place to bring the family and kids love seeing the horses run across the finish line. Live racing runs Wednesdays, Friday, Saturday and Sundays through May 7-the Kentucky Derby. See you at the track!
