If you’re looking for something to do with the kids outdoors, Horsepower For Kids might just be the spot for you!
It’s a non-profit organization nestled right off Tampa Rd and Racetrack Rd. Horsepower For Kids is a farm and home to several animals that offers horses, a petting zoo, horse-back riding lessons along with educational opportunities for children of all ages. Children and parents can take the time to learn how to interact and care for these animals.
When you’re done spending some time with the animals, you can take a relaxing ride with the family on the little train that travels around the property.
If you and the family enjoy the farm, you can even choose to host a birthday party there for everyone to enjoy. It’s an awesome place to host a party, don’t worry you’ll be perfectly comfortable in shade with picnic tables. Your guests will be able to enjoy the birthday festivities while going off on their own to do their own thing in a safe and friendly environment.
Also, don’t miss out on their seasonal events that they have every year such as their fall festivals that include a pumpkin ride that the kids are sure to enjoy. There’s also a Christmas on the Farm event with fun Christmas themes throughout the farm and a nativity scene.
If you’re looking for something for the kids to do during the summer, check out their summer camps that go on until mid August.
Last but not least, be sure to take an extra change of clothes or go in something you don’t mind getting a little dirty, after all… it is a farm! Have fun!
